About Fortis
Our History
Fortis is a privately owned Chinese company specializing in precision metal machining. Established in 1997, we have grown from a small home-based operation into a medium-sized machining enterprise with 70 employees.
Our production capabilities are diverse, focusing on the manufacturing of metal parts for firefighting technology, industrial robot connectors, flanges, medical rehabilitation equipment components, automotive steering motor housings, hydraulic system parts, planetary gear reducer components, and various other precision metal components.
Beyond machining, we have expanded our operations to include a dedicated OEM business unit for reducers, invested in metal powder injection molding and mold manufacturing facilities, and established a machine tool agency in Shanghai.
Our Facilities
We are strategically located in the picturesque Hangzhou Bay area, within the Zhejiang Pinghu Dushan Port Entrepreneurship Park, neighboring Shanghai. The facility benefits from excellent transportation links, being just an hour's drive from Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
Our factory covers an area of 3500 square meters, with a workshop area of 2500 square meters. We are equipped with 22 processing centers from renowned brands such as Japan's Mazak, America's Haas, Japan's original imported Fanuc, and Taiwan's Youjia. Additionally, we have 24 rotary tables and CNC lathes from Japan's Tsugami, Taiwan's Cheng Tai, and Taiwan's Youjia. Our comprehensive range of equipment also features centerless grinders, surface grinders, milling machines, circular saws, and an extensive array of auxiliary support equipment.

Our stringent quality control measures ensure that each product leaving our facility is of the highest caliber.
We are proud to be certified under the ISO: Quality Management System and IATF: Quality Management System. Our quality department offers a range of reports and studies, including: comprehensive ISR (Initial Sample Run) detailing all print dimensions, PPAP, featuring dimensional layouts, PFMEA, Control Plans, flowcharts, and operator instructions, and material certifications covering raw materials, plating, and additional services.
